Office visits to dentist Fort Smith

Typically, your first visit includes X-rays that allow Dr. Staton to examine the teeth and their supporting structures, both upper and lower jaws, and tooth decay. We will review your medical and dental histories. Be sure to let us know of any recent illness, hospitalization, or surgeries. We will discuss any medication you are taking, whether prescription or over-the-counter products. This information helps us determine the safest and most effective treatment for you.

Consultation

After reviewing your records, Dr. Staton will enter into a discussion with you on the best course of treatment. With your input, we will arrive at your treatment plan. The fees for this treatment will be discussed and any financial arrangements can be made at this time.

Regular exams and cleanings (check-ups)

We cannot stress the importance of regular check-ups. The timing of these appointments is custom tailored to the patient. Most of our patients are seen every six months, some are on a yearly, and some with special needs are on a three month basis.
